Assessment Test
There will be a preliminary assessment process for some job positions. It usually depends on the position and location. The assessment may include the following:
- Personality tests: help employers learn more about your personality, communication style, empathy, as well as your reactions to certain situations.
- Verbal reasoning: test your verbal comprehension and understanding of language. These questions will have a written passage followed by the answer options of true, false, or cannot say.
- Numerical reasoning: based on basic mathematical knowledge, this test features word problems, graphs, number sequences, sufficiency questions, and more.
- Basic Math: check your level of skill and accuracy when it comes to basic mathematical computations and operations.
- Situational Judgement Tests (SJT): describe a work situation to determine how you would approach the problem. These questions can probe your conflict management skills, problem-solving, and more.
- Mechanical aptitude test which uses psychometric assessment to evaluate the test takers ability to evaluate and solve problems with mechanical concepts
The role of the assessment test is to evaluate your experience and skill level. New applicants will need to complete the test before the close requisition date, and the assessment results are valid for one year.

Henkel Interview
The goal of the interview is to get to know you better and allow you to meet our Henkel team. To begin with, you will be contacted by email or phone to explain the interview process and cover any specifics. Then, we will set a date and time for the interview.
There are different types of interviews, and there’s a good chance you will participate in more than one. It depends on the position and location.
- Phone or Skype interview– Henkel HR will contact you by phone or Skype to ask questions so that we can develop a sense of your interest and qualifications. If all goes well, the HR manager will send an invitation for you to come in and do an in-person interview.
- On-campus interview- This is for students at universitys and universities that may be interested in internships and apprenticeships that could lead them to permanent positions. If you are a student, you may be referred to one or more business lines to complete the interview process.
- Technical interview– This is an on-site interview with technical questions that help Henkel gain an understanding of your skills in your given field. You will need to be prepared to explain how you solve technical problems and arrive at solutions.
